Each family (not student) will be given 5 tickets in the form of wristbands. Each of the 5 people attending (per family) will be sent home a paper screening guide to check for symptoms and return to the school prior to receiving wristbands. These forms must be picked up by the graduate on Friday, May 8 in the High School office from 8:00-3:00 . These forms must be returned by the graduate to the High School office no later than Tuesday, May 12 by 3:00pm . Upon arrival, all 5 members of the group (which must arrive together) will be escorted by a school staff member to their assigned seating, which was drawn for by school administration. Upon conclusion of the ceremony, please remain seated. A staff member will release you by row and section. Attendees must go directly to their vehicles. There will be no congregating or picture taking after the ceremony on school grounds. Family photographs need to be taken prior to the arrival of Graduation. Officer McDonald will be present and available to disperse the crowd as needed. **An important note about wristbands (tickets). Due to social distancing guidelines, leftover tickets are not transferable to another family. For example, if the Askew family only needs 3 tickets they are not allowed to give the remaining two to the Lewis family. This would violate the social distancing by family guideline. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter.** Graduates The graduates will arrive at 7:00pm in cap and gown. They will be seated six feet apart in the gymnasium. They will need to park in the student parking lot and enter through the door by the girl’s locker room, where they will be screened by a school staff member. As the ceremony begins, they will walk in a line (appropriately spaced) to the assigned seating for seniors. As the student’s name is called and they cross the stage, a graduation photograph will be taken and the student will return to their seat. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduates will toss their caps from their seats. Students will exit by row and make their way to the check-out tables (organized by alphabet). At each table will be two staff members. One will remove the stoles/cords and the other will place the actual diploma on the table to be picked up by the student. After the student has checked out, they will report straight to their vehicle. There will be no congregating or picture taking at the conclusion of the ceremony on school grounds. Officer McDonald will be present and available to disperse the crowd as needed. Spanish Version End of Year Procedures The Comanche HS and JH will begin taking up school issued equipment the week of May 11. Students are asked to drive by the back of the high school during the scheduled times. Students should have all equipment with them when they come including the laptop, laptop bag, charger, calculators, text...
